Nutrition experts recommend this valuable vegetable oil because it is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Canola is also important as a renewable raw material. Bayer CropScience and the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research in Gatersleben, Germany, recently entered into a research agreement to develop new products to meet the huge need for healthy, high-quality oils.
